The Details

From the elusive Romain Verger of Chemille-en-Anjou, this is a new cuvée for 'Lé Thio Noots,' composed of 100% Gamay that sees a long maceration and yet somehow (the magic trick for which he's since become famous --- uber-long presses and macerations and wines that, contrary to what one might presume, are lifted, bright, fresh, never truly weighty) is supremely fresh and featherweight, clocking in at only 11% ABV, perhaps a reflection of the very rainy 2023 vintage. Unfined, unfiltered, no additional SO2.
