The Details
With the help of Marino Colleoni, this extremely rare bottling from Le Vignette in Monte Amiata is composed of very old-vines of both red and white grapes, all native to the area - Sangiovese, Sangiovese Grosso, Ciliegiolo, Colorino, Canaiolo, Uva del Cavalière and more including Procanico and Malvasia Riminese. Grapes are hand-harvested from their 1.2 hectares and co-ferment for 8 days in tank prior to pressing. Élevage in barrique for a year plus before bottling unfined, unfiltered, no additional SO2.
