Fresh, light, and centered by a core of stone fruit and pristine minerality, this medium-funk rosé is from Maria and Sepp Muster who tend 10 hectares of vines in southern Austria's beautiful winemaking region, Styria.
Vinification: A blend of Zweigelt, Blauer Wildbacher, and Blaufrankisch hand-harvested from 34 year-old vines grown in limestone and clay-silt soils. Teh grapes are destemmed, gently pressed, and undergo spontaneous fermentation (ambient yeasts; no temp control) in 225L 18 year-old barrels. Élevage lasts 20 months. The wine is bottled unfined, unfiltered, no additional SO2.
