This is a debut cuvée from Marie Rocher who works in France's Loire Valley.
Tasting Notes: Juicy, joyful, jazzy Gamay from the Loire, giving you Ella Fitzgerald ooh ahh delight!
Vinification: 100% Gamay grapes hand-harvested from vines grown in a place formerly occupied by Clos Roche Blanche near the River Cher in Touraine, Loire. Unfined, unfiltered, with no additional SO2. (More vinfication notes, i.e. aging, maceration, vessels, etc., to come!)
Producer Spotlight
Marie Rocher is a new winemaker who has been dealing with wine for a long time. Editing and publishing books about wine for many years, she decided to move to actually producing the stuff about 5 years ago and after being trained by some of the best natural winemakers she released her first vintage in 2018.
