The Details
60% Cinsault, 30% Aramon, 10% Syrah from Jeff Coutelou in Puimisson in the Languedoc - grapes are biodynamically cultivated. Jeff has long been known as one of the great farmers of the French south and all of his wines bear the true marks of something complex and hard-won with a harmonious thruline borne clearly from expertly farmed fruit. Grapes are hand-harvested and co-fermented a la mille feuille before pressing. The wine is an homage to the wondrous Poulsards of the Jura ergo the name and stylistic imprint of the wine - light, fresh, snappy, a touch of reductive charm and easy-drinking. Unfined, unfiltered, no additional SO2. 10.94% ABV
