The Details
The baby Cornas, this is 100% Syrah from 30-year-old vines planted in clay and limestone soil. Spontaneous yeast fermentation, completely destemmed, with 9 months elevage in concrete. A tiny bit of SO2 at bottling. Robust and crunchy, with blackcurrants and oatmeal on the nose, and soulful black plums on the palate. Syrah to enjoy with roast chicken, or summer BBQ.
