The Details
70% Carinyena, 20% Macabeo, 10% Garnacha Blanca from old biodynamically cultivated vines in Vilalba dels Arcs in Terra Alta from vines planted nearer the bottom of the hill of the same name with soils characterized by loamy clay (higher proportion of compacted clay here) and limestone bedrock. Grapes are hand-harvested, co-macerated/spontaneously fermented for a week or two before pressing. All in stainless steel with 7 months in steel before bottling unfined, unfiltered, no additional SO2 and 2 more years in bottle before release.
