The Details
This is a skin-contact beauty from Dane Johns of Memento Mori who works in Gippsland (Heathcote), Victoria, Australia.
Tasting Notes: Just how the phrase "a fistful of flowers" is laden with muscle and leanness, this bottling of orange from Memento Mori wears flower and power through the nose and then the palate. Frangipani and ginger whirl the bouquet into heady aromatics and zesty sun-baked apricots undergird the body.
Vinification: Moscato Giallo & Vermentino, two grapes well suited to Victoria's climate climate, are hand-harvested and undergo a short maceration before full fermentation in stainless. Unfined, unfiltered with no additional SO2. 12% ABV
