The Details
Vineyard/Cellar Stats: Organic farming; extreme volcanic soils; biodiversity in the vineyard, no chemicals used, hand-harvested; fermented in stainless steel, aged in used barrique, minimal sulfur added at bottling only; 12% ABV
Winemaker: Raffaele La Mura
Region: Campania (Vesuvio)
Notes: Pale yellow in color, this wine offers aromas of pear and other tree fruits complemented by undertones of white peach and licorice. On the palate, strident minerality and good body make this a well-structured, food-friendly wine.
