The Details
100% Syrah from granite and light red clay soil in the Oakstone Vineyard of the Sierra Foothills. Carbonic maceration during fermentation and goodness can you taste it! Exuberent and almost effervescent, this is a wildly thirst quenching (!) expression of Syrah, one that is unmistakably blackberry and white pepper spice, but dare we say, chuggable? Bottled unfined and unfiltered with less than 4ppm of SO2.
