The Details
100% Nebbiolo from a selection across all of Molino's holdings (tiny - 3.8hectares across Villero/Rocche dell'annunziata). Organically cultivated, vines range in age averaging 60 years old and have been organically cultivated vineyard sites for nearly 100 years, the entirety of the time the Molino family have owned the vines. Grapes are hand-harvested from clay/limestone soils and macerate for a long time in concrete before spontaneous fermentation and malolactic in very large neutral Slavonian Botti with 40 months élevage before bottling unfined, unfiltered, low (<10ppm) to no added SO2 depending on vintage.
