The Details
Natural Barolo in Magnum! 100% Nebbiolo from a selection across all of Molino's holdings (tiny - 3.8hectares across Villero/Rocche dell'annunziata). Organically cultivated, vines range in age averaging ~60 years old and have been organically cultivated vineyard sites for nearly 100 years, the entirety of the time the Molino family have owned the vines. Grapes are hand-harvested from clay/limestone soils and macerate for a long time in concrete before spontaneous fermentation and malolactic in very large neutral Slavonian Botti with 40 months élevage before bottling unfined, unfiltered, low (<10ppm) to no added SO2 depending on vintage.
