Grower champagne made from 40% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir, 20% Pinot Meunier. Organic farming, old vines (including a portion planted Franc de Pied), massale selection, spontaneous fermentations, aging in barrel.
Richly layered: cobbler-esque dark berry and baking spice and an explosion of citrus on the midpalate. For all of its richness the wine finishes with lift and savory persistence.
