A delightfully crunchy blend from Evan Lewandowski, one of our favorite young American winemakers who has recently relocated from Utah to California to take over a small estate of old Italian varieties that he is converting to organic viticulture.
Boaz 2017, in Evan's words: "
Three of the niftiest parcels off the Testa Ranch are picked together and are joined in whole cluster fermentation matrimony. Old vine Carignan, very old vine Grenache, and some of the sexiest Cabernet Sauvignon out there come together as one to provide a window into the world of the Testa family and what they've been up to for the last 100-plus years. It is the one true to form red of the bunch, but it remains lithe, acid driven and focused."
