The Details

Merla (Canaiolo), Sangiovese, and Ciliegiolo from the Ligurian hills outside Sarzana on the eastern border of the region where it meets Tuscany. This is an excellent, table red that shows the versatility of its coastal provenance with salinity and freshness mixing with the red fruit, earth, and spice you might expect from the cépage. Vinified and aged in stainless steel prior to being bottled unfined, unfiltered, minimal added SO2 at bottling. 13%ABV
