About the wine

From a new winemaker in Emilia-Romagna's Val Trebbia who was previously a mentee at the famed natural wine producer La Stoppa, this is a skin-contact beauty composed of 80% Ortugo with the remainder filled out by a smattering of varieties native to the region such as Malvasia di Candia Aromatica, Marsanne, Trebbiano Romagnolo so on and so forth. Hand-harvested, the grapes macerate for 8 months and spontaneously ferment without any punchdowns, pump overs or tempperature control in a combination of used acacia tonneaux and fiberglass tank. One year of élevage prior to bottling. Unfined, unfiltered, no additional SO2. 12.5%ABV
