The Details
This "Joven" style wine is an ode to Wayne's youth in Spain, where he learned to make wine and fell in love with the Rioja region's varietals. A blend of Tempranillo, Garnacha, Monastrell, Bastardo and Tinta Amerilla. Distinctly Spanish in its balance of tannin, spice and fruit, but the ripeness of the Barossa region brings out more black cherry and plum, with a slight eucalyptus finish. Fantastic with lightly grilled meats or a spicy, nut-rich couscous. Bottled with a small amount of SO2, no fining or filtration.
