The Details

This is a gorgeous and thirst quenching chardonnay from Nic Coturri who works three hectares of vines in the Sonoma Valley.

Tasting Notes: Ripe but distinctly fresh quince and gooseberry carry Moroccan spice on the nose and into the unmistakable depth and well-balanced richness of the palate.

Vinification: 100% Chardonnay, from a small 0.5ha parcel in Sonoma County. Direct press and elevage in stainless steel. Bottled completely without additives, fining or filtration. 

"The goal of Sonoma Mtn Winery has always been to carry on the torch of an over 40 year wine making tradition started by the Coturri family in Glen Ellen. The philosophy is simple: farming first and just grapes. The only additions done in the vineyard are organic compost, light sulfuring (as needed), no chemicals or pesticides and all sustainable organic practices. The wines have no additions, fining, filtering or sulfites added. These are true classic terroir driven wines from California. Farming First - Just Grapes."
