The Details
Oregonian Ryšák - this is a co-ferment of red and white grapes (Pinot/Gruner/Zweigelt/Mondeuse) from Morning Mist Vineyard and Johan Vineyard both organically farmed, younger-vine vineyards in the Willamette Valley of Oregon. Winemaker here is Dan Rinke. Grapes are hand-harvested and the Pinot/Gruner/Zweigelt are whole-cluster directly pressed whereas the Mondeuse and a very small percentage of Pinot separately macerate for 3 weeks whole cluster prior to pressing. Spontaneous fermentation in flextank and used barrique. Bottled unfined, unfiltered, 15ppm added SO2 at bottling. 11% ABV
