The Details
Tasting Notes: Skeptics with an aversion to Chardonnay, fear not... This is not your average California chard… Peach, lemon custard, and zippy acidity. A white with a bit of weight and texture, but gorgeous fruit and bright citrus elements to give it lift. Enjoy with a light pasta or drink it before dinner on its own.
Vinification: 100% Chardonnay, hand-harvested from 30 year-old vines atop decomposed granitic and limestone soils at 2400 feet elevation. Whole-cluster directly-pressed Chardonnay goes into neutral barrel where the juice will ferment and age for 5 months. Unfined, unfiltered, no additional SO2. 12.5% ABV.
