The Details
Zinfandel, Carignan, Barbera from Mendocino, grown over gravel and loam soil. Juicy, joyful and ripe - classic California through the lens of the avant garde. Also, it's just damn fun.
"The goal of Sonoma Mtn Winery has always been to carry on the torch of an over 40 year wine making tradition started by the Coturri family in Glen Ellen. The philosophy is simple: farming first and just grapes. The only additions done in the vineyard are organic compost, light sulfuring (as needed), no chemicals or pesticides and all sustainable organic practices. The wines have no additions, fining, filtering or sulfites added. These are true classic terroir driven wines from California. Farming First - Just Grapes."
