100% Pinot Blanc from 2011, sourced from the unique terroir of Bergheim. Spontaneous fermentation, rested in stainless on the lees for 18 months, then held back in bottle 6 years! An outstandingly mature wine, stunning now but with years to go. Fresh apricots and roasted hazelnuts on the nose, with melon and a dirty, savory sort of stone fruit (maybe durian?) on the palate. Please enjoy with friends who don't speed drink!
