The Details
Salty, nutty, pesto-y, delicious coastal white from Liguria courtesy of Giulia Marangon. Grapes are a hodge-podge emblematic of the area's confluence of several regions and cultures -- various strains of Vermentino, Trebbiano Ross, and Moscato organically cultivated. Hand-harvested, 1/3 each the grapes are directly pressed or whole-bunch or whole-berry (manually destemmed) spontaneously fermented in stainless steel tanks prior to blending and racking to neutral oak barrel. Bottled unfined, unfiltered, minimal added SO2.
