About the wine
100% Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir) from the Reinhessen, courtesy of a 16th Century estate. Old-vines hand-harvested, the grapes macerate on the skins for 3-4 weeks with frequent punch downs. The wine is then pressed and aged in neutral french oak for 20 months. Bottled unfined, unfiltered, minimal added SO2. 13.5%ABV
