The Details
50/50 Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon from organically cultivated grapes whose vines are planted to clay/limestone soils in the hills of the southerly Tuscan Val di Chiana and which range in age from 20-55 years-old. Grapes are hand-harvested, and the Sangiovese grapes macerate in directly pressed Cabernet Sauvignon Juice. Stainless steel for spontaneous fermentation and aging before being bottled unfined, unfiltered, minimal added SO2.
