The Details
100% Bonarda, 45-years-old. Harvested four different times, with each harvest fermented seperately, then blended together. Vinified via carbonic maceration, unfined and unfiltered, bottled with minimal SO2. A seductive and dankly perfumed nose evokes musky blueberry, cherry, and raspberry. The vibrant fruit on the palate leads to a soft and round mouthfeel, held together by firm tannins and bright acidity. This is a crusher, but one that is entirely unlike those you may have had from Argentina - lithe and glouglou!
