The Details

Biodynamically farmed in Rioja Alavesa (higher elevation, farther north, closer to Basque Country), this is a field-blend of 10 different indigenous Rioja varieties (Tempranillo, Garnacha, Graciano, Miguel de arco, Tintorera, Viura, Calagreño, Maturana, and more) from a south-facing vineyard. 90+ year-old bush vines, grapes are hand-harvested and whole-cluster spontaneously co-carbonically macerate/ferment prior to pressing and aging in 500L neutral barrel. Bottled unfined, unfiltered, no additional SO2.
