The Details
From the Langenlois in northern Austria, this is a brilliant lightly-deeper rosé of directly pressed Zweigelt and Pinot Noir juice that was dashed with the juice of a shortly macerated Cabernet Sauvignon harvest. Spontaneous fermentation occurred in neutral oak vat. The wine was transferred to used oak barrel for the completion of malolactic fermentation in addition to a 6-month élevage sur lie. Bottled unfined, unfiltered, with minimal added SO2 at bottling. 11% ABV!
