The Details
This is glou-glou glory (if that isn’t a cringeworthy phrase?)! What a drink. Arriving in a can, this is a perfect, totable drink that is an expert co-ferment of the hybrid grape (Leon), wild-foraged apples from Yoder Farm, and Cranberry Bob cranberries. A true original with some spritzy vibes and a bit of everything from Krista Scruggs of Zafa Wines and David Dolginow and Colin Davis of Shacksbury Cidery, both located in Champlain Valley, Vermont.
Vinificaton: Leon Millot Grapes, Wild Foraged Apples from Yoder Farm, Cranberry Bob Cranberries hand-harvested and undergo spontaneous co-fermentation (ambient yeasts; no temp. control). Once-racked, the wine is canned unfined, unfiltered, with 20ppm SO2 added (lightly sparkling!)
