Collection: Bonnigal-Bodet

Jean-Baptiste Bonnigal and Stéphane Bodet, who have been close friends for a long time, first met while studying in Montagne-Saint-Emilion. After obtaining their vocational baccalaureat and diplomas, they went their separate ways to pursue their careers. Stéphane remained in the Bordeaux region, gaining experience with Merlots and Cabernets Sauvignons in Saint-Emilion. On the other hand, Jean-Baptiste decided to explore the vast landscapes of New Zealand and Australia before returning to France to refine his skills under François Chidaine in Montlouis-sur-Loire.

Upon his return, Jean-Baptiste invited Stéphane to join him in managing the family domaine in Limeray, near Amboise. Both of them share the same professional goals and have a similar perspective on nature. They have embraced organic and biodynamic practices, diligently working the land and regularly aerating the soil by hoeing every two weeks. They also promote and support microbial life by cultivating various plants. The vines are treated only when necessary, and the leaves are manually thinned to ensure optimal grape maturity. Additionally, they meticulously control the harvest process.

Their ultimate aim is to create wines that are precise and pure, reflecting their commitment to quality and sustainability.
