The Details
100% Gamay from Saint-Julien-sur-Bibost, a small vineyard at the highest registered elevation in the AOP Coteaux du Lyonnais, a nugget of countryside located in the inbetween-land stretching from southern Beaujolais to the first outcroppings of Northern Rhône hillsides. Baptiste Nayrand has worked here since 2014.
Whole-cluster, spontaneous fermentation in fiberglass is followed by a 6-month maturation also in fiberglass.
Unfined. Light, coarse filtration followed by minimal addition of SO2 at bottling.
