The Details

100% old-vine (~80+ years-old) Gamay organically farmed in the gone-wild parcel of glacial-till soils of Freydiere, Millery amidst the lost coteaux of the Lyonnais between the Beaujolais and the Northern Rhône courtesy of Baptiste Nayrand. Short whole-cluster, carbonic maceration followed by slow press in a vertical basket press. Aged in neutral barrel for 10 months before being bottled unfined, unfiltered, minimal added SO2 (only in certain vintages).
