Barrell Private Release Whiskey DJA2 is a distinctive expression from Barrell Craft Spirits’ Private Release series. This unique whiskey is a blend of straight whiskeys sourced from Indiana and Kentucky, finished in a St. Agrestis Brooklyn Amaro cask, imparting complex and intriguing flavors.
Tasting Notes:
• Nose: Aromas of cardamom, baked apricot, orange and lime zest, with a hint of white pepper.
• Palate: Flavors of cardamom, dark cherry, ginger, and tarragon, finishing with a touch of lemongrass.
This expression was awarded a Platinum Medal at Fred Minnick’s ASCOT Awards, highlighting its exceptional quality and innovative finishing process.
