Barrell Private Release Whiskey DSX3 is a distinguished expression from Barrell Craft Spirits’ Private Release series. This unique whiskey is a blend of straight whiskeys finished in a former Pedro Ximénez (PX) sherry cask, imparting rich and complex flavors. 

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: A buttery aroma reminiscent of buttered French toast with maple syrup, powdered sugar, and candy-like notes, accompanied by light fruit nuances. 

• Palate: Described as “nutmeg-dusted peach cobbler,” offering a harmonious blend of sweet and spicy elements. 

• Finish: Long and satisfying, with lingering sweetness and a touch of spice.

Bottled at 60.73% ABV (121.46 proof), this cask-strength whiskey delivers a bold yet refined experience, showcasing the intricate interplay between the base whiskey and the PX sherry cask finish.
