The Details

A huge blend of biodynamically cultivated fruit by the Brand Brothers in the Pfalz - Müller-Thurgau, Riesling, Kerner, Silvaner, Chardonnay, Weissburgunder, and Grauburgunder all hand-harvested by parcel and foot stomped upon arrival at the winery. Some varieties are directly pressed, some macerated for various periods of time, some a combination (whole-bunch infusion). All in a combination of stainless/neutral barrel for spontaneous fermentation and aging for ~ 1 year before bottling unfined, unfiltered, no additional SO2. 9.5% ABV
