The Details

A cuvée that resulted from the disastrous 2017 vintage in which Stefano bottled a combination of Barbera and Dolcetto traditionally destined for the upper cuvées Nibio & Mounbé – which then took over a year to ferment and finally finished dry (as he’d predicted) after Stefano’s tragic passing. The experience so moved his daughter Ilarria that she has continued to make this wine year after year in the same manner as that first vintage – bits of the Cru reds blended to make an entry delight of distinction.
