The Details

100% Xarel-lo biodynamically cultivated in the Alt-Pénedes in a single vineyard at the top of a very rocky ridge called La Sierra de Can Rossell (or 'La Serra') which is southwest facing and was planted in 2008 (vines are 17 years old). Grapes are hand-harvested, 80% destemmed, 20% whole-cluster. Spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel and élevage for 6 months before being bottled unfined, unfitlered, no additional SO2.
