The Details

Montònec/Macabeu/Xarel.lo/Sumoll/Monastrell/Roigenc/Mandó/Cannonau/Mònica/Torbat/Malvasía de Sitges all co-planted in 2006 to a single vineyard on calcareous clay soils in the Alt Penedes. Grapes are hand-harvested, 90% of them are directly pressed and 10% are red grapes which macerate for 20 days (no real extraction) prior to pressing. Spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel and bottled just before the end of primary fermentation to capture CO2. Unfined, unfiltered, no additional SO2.
