The Details
New Cuvée from Clos Bateau, one of the recent, key upstart 0/0 producers in the Beaujolais! This is a parcellaire co-ferment of Chardonnay (~60%) / Gamay (~40%) from a plot planted to pure pink granite soils at 330m elevation. Combination of some direct press and short maceration juices, the wine spontaneously ferments and matures for 6-9 months prior to bottling unfined, unfiltered, no additional SO2. 940 bottles made.
