The Details
100% Aligoté from organically cultivated (with biodynamic preparations) 50-60 year-old vines planted in the clay/limestone soils of the Clos de la Perrière in Corpeau just southeast of Puligny-Montrachet & Chassagne-Montrachet. Grapes are hand-harvested and directly, pneumatically pressed. Juice settles in 350L neutral barrel. Spontaneous fermentation and aging for 4 months sur lie also in neutral wood. Bottled unfined, unfiltered, minimal (<15ppm) added SO2.
