100% Cesanese.  Vignes grow in high altitude on sandstone soil in northern Lazio, Italy. A spicy wine with hints of violet, sour cherry, rhubarb and damask rose.

Cantine Riccardi Reale are two "green writers" and grape growers with 6 hectares between the Aniene River Valley and Prenestini Mountains, near Rome. In Colle Pazzo (Crazy Hill) they have rich red earth (volcanic) and the white sandstone of the Cretaceous era.
