This is a refreshing yet supple white wine from Domaine Chevrot whose estate encompasses twenty hectares of vines in Maranges, the southern entrance to Burgundy's Côte de Beaune.
Tasting Notes: Aromatics of pristinely ripe pear, mint and bramble lead into a palate that is warm, sunny, and thirst-quenching. A precise white with a touch of body.
Vinification: From four different parcels, this Aligoté has been grown on vines that range in age from 36-50 years old. Direct-press, fermented in stainless steel, aged in old french oak. Clay-limestone soil.
