The Details
Cru Beaujolais from Louis-Clement David-Beaupère. 100% Gamay from 45 year-old vines organically cultivated in the decomposed, blue diorite (blue volcanic remnants) and schistous soils of the Vayolette climat in Juliénas. Grapes are hand-harvested, macerate for 22 days in concrete vat prior to pressing. Spontaneous fermentation and aging thereafter (9-12 months) take place in neutral barrel. Bottled unfined, unfiltered, minimal (10mg/L) added SO2.
