The Details

50/50 Grenache and Mourvèdre from a neighbor's organically cultivated vines (terroir slightly different than F-X's -- red-rock/clayey riverbed soils here). Grapes are hand-harvested, Grenache is destemmed and Mourvèdre is whole-cluster. Co-spontaneous-fermentation takes place in fiberglass tank semi-carbonically for 10 days prior to pressing and aging in inox for three months. Bottled unfined, unfiltered, minimal (<10ppm) added SO2.
