The Details
Bucéphale is one of the top cuvées of Thomas Ligas, a student of wine in France who returned to his family domaine, fully immersed in the ancient viticultural traditions of Pella, where he converted the family's holdings to biodynamics. This cuvée is 100% Xinomavro, macerated for month whole cluster in foudres, with 12 months elevage in barriques. Absolutely a splendor. Elegant, profound, with purity of fruit, ample structure and freshness. A fully grown adult of a wine, with such a dense and inspiring mouthfeel. Perfect now, but with great capacity to age.
