This is a pulpy, lively rosé from Fabien Jouves who works several plots of certified (Demeter/Biodyvin) biodynamic vines between the towns of Quercy and Cahors in the southern French region of Occitanie.
Tasting Notes: Total porch-pounder! A liberated rosé that evokes rich and rustic terroir: fresh but gourmandise, a wine that will carry you de apéro a table.
Vinification: 50% Merlot, 50% Malbec from vines grown in clay and limestone soils of the Occitanie. This rosé is made using the saignée method and undergoes a medium-length maceration and fermentation and is bottled young. Unfined, unfiltered, with no additional SO2.
