The Details
Gruner/Weissburgunder biodynamically cultivated from 40 year-old vines planted in the slate/gravel/sandy soils of Burgenland. The grapes are hand-harvested and partially destemmed. 1/3 of the grapes spontaneously ferment in contact with the skins for 3 weeks while the remaining 2/3 of the wine's grape volume is directly pressed into 500L barrels. Blended thereafter the wine then rests for 12 months in neutral barrel. Bottled unfined, unfiltered, no additional SO2.
The son of Mechthild and Bertholdi, and the brother of Joshuari and Emmeram. He impresses people with his strong, powerful, and balanced character. He stands with both feet firmly planted on the ground, but is nonetheless open-minded and always looking for new challenges. He is regarded as self-confident, a man of substance and even refined, he is someone, who due to his winning ways, quickly makes friends anywhere.
