The Details
90% Cinsault and 10% Grenache from 35-year-old vines, plated on clay, limestone and some gravel. "Zou Mai" translates to 'Come on!' as the Brit punkers liked to say, and the wine utterly reflects this anti-Thatcher groove, with Mediterranean sensibilities. All labor is manual, no filtration and no SO2 at bottling. Unquestionably gulpable, super light in color, with ample juicy red fruit, acidity, and a touch of rainbow peppercorn spice.
