About the wine

From one of the leading lights of the Natural Wine Scene in the Languedoc, this is Grenache Blanc/Roussanne/Clairette from 20/40 year-old, dry farmed vines planted in clay-limestone soils outside Julien's hometown of Paulhan. The grapes were harvested by hand on the 6th, 9th, and 23rd of August in 2022. The Grenache Blanc and Roussanne grapes co-macerated for 3 days; the Clairette was directly pressed all blended in stainless steel where the wine spontaneously fermented and matured for about 6 months before being bottled unfined, unfiltered, no additional SO2. 12.7%ABV
