The Details

From the westernmost extent of Moravian (southern Czech's broader windswept, arable plains) viticultural potential, this is 100% Pinot Gris from 3 of 8 distinct (small!) vineyards that Martin Vajčner organically cultivates in Znojmo. Grapes are hand-harvested and macerate with the skins for 12 hours prior to pressing. Spontaneous fermentation and maturation in 225L neutral barrel. Bottled unfined, unfiltered, no additional SO2.
